I attended the presentation of the Save Food Initiative at the Interpack 2017 and was very much impressed by the projects which are part of the initiative.
We at Metatex have a a very similar belief, to improve the quality of packaging to improve the shelf life of the product thereby reducing food waste. We are developing innovative and economical packaging materials for milk, meat and grains in Pakistan to save spoilage of the pacakged item.
We also work with our customers to increase the sustainability of the packaging materials so the there is less waste creation and better recyclability of the packaging materials.
At the Interpack 2017, I have made plans to work at Dupont to start two new projects.
I hope our team at Metatex will learn from and contribute positively to SAVE FOOD INITIATIVE
