swop 2023 - SAVE FOOD Awards

For the first time, the SAVE FOOD Initiative presented the SAVE FOOD DESIGN AWARD and the SUSTAINABILITY DESIGN AWARD CHINA to exhibitors at the Shanghai World of Packaging (swop) 2023.

The SAVE FOOD DESIGN AWARD recognised innovative products that minimise food loss and waste, while the SUSTAINABILITY DESIGN AWARD showcased solutions with a positive environmental impact, such as the reduction of carbon emissions.

UNIDO, the World Packaging Organisation (WPO) and the FAO acted as a jury to evaluate the submitted products/solutions.
