Food & Beverage Packaging

“Our reasoning for participating in the Save Food initiative is to stand with other organizations to address the fact that 1/3 of all food is lost or wasted. In a world with finite resources and a growing population, that’s unacceptable. There is no better time than now to address this problem through education and through action. Packaging plays a fundamental role to raise efficiencies throughout the supply chain, to save food, to save costs and ultimately to help save lives. It is a winning proposition for everyone. We support our food and beverage packagers who can help making a difference and welcome hearing their success stories. On behalf of Food & Beverage Packaging, it is a privilege to participate as a sponsor of Save Food.“, said Rick Lingle, Editor in Chief, Food & Beverage Packaging.

Therefore, it is a concern of the IK Industrievereinigung Kunststoffverpackungen to support the initiative SAVE FOOD.
